About Us
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, J. Ruffin Hunt earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and Juris Doctor from Stetson College of Law. He has spent his entire career specializing in Criminal Defense, primarily in Hillsborough County. He has extensive experience handling all types of criminal cases ranging from misdemeanor traffic offenses to felonies punishable by life in prison. He has successfully tried multiple cases in front of juries that returned Not Guilty verdicts for his clients. Passionate about defending the constitutional rights of the accused, he is prepared to fight for you both in and out of the courtroom. Having started his career defending those who were financially unable to hire an attorney, J. Ruffin Hunt strives to provide quality, yet affordable legal representation to those charged with criminal offenses in the greater Tampa Bay area.
